Heat Recovery Ventilators provide an energy efficient air exchange of stale, contaminated air with fresh outside air. Ventilation air is necessary to dilute odors and limit the concentration of Carbon Dioxide and airborne pollutants. Heat Recovery Ventilators bring outside fresh air into the house while recovering up to 80% of the existing air energy. The exchanging air mixes in a heat exchanger "core" with a certain heat coefficient and air filter. Heat Recovery Ventilators - HRV - can be installed as stand alone units or added to the existing HVAC system.
